Live Music: Talmon and James
July 28 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
After opening for our Live in the Vines concert with Brett Dennen, we’re excited to welcome back Talmon Owens and James Murray for the next installment of our Folk in the Gallery series!!
Growing up in a family of musicians, Talmon began playing guitar at an early age and formed a pop-punk band in high school. Over the years, his musical taste has diversified and his interest shifted towards the role of a singer/songwriter. His self-titled album, released in 2014, drew inspiration from living in Big Sur California, penning many of the songs on Pfeiffer beach itself. The song, “Sycamore Trees,” is his latest single and he is currently working on an EP.
Talmon and James have known each other most of their lives. Despite coming from very different musical backgrounds ( Talmon: Indie Folk & Rock, James: R&B and Soul), when they join together the result is truly a unique musical experience. Soulful and meaningful, humorous and engaging, these guys are as comfortable and natural as singer/songwriters can be.
Join us as this talented duo takes the stage for another great night of Folk in the Gallery. No ticket necessary, simply stop by and enjoy.
