Barrel of Laughs: Best of San Francisco Comedy Competition
February 21 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Here’s the line up! Comprised of past San Francisco Comedy Competition Competitors…
Mike E. Winfield is frighteningly creative and almost family friendly! His comedy is refreshing and relatable in a way that makes him a comedic genius. Mike E. moved to California to pursue comedy and to escape the rough streets of Baltimore. The comedy scene felt natural to him and he embraced it, raking up credits such as The Late Show with David Letterman, a reoccurring role on NBC’s The Office, Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo on Netflix, an Emmy Nomination, and multiple movies in post production, one with the rapper DMX called PIMP. He takes his ups and downs in his life and marriage and turns them into jewels he releases on stage.
John Hastings has appeared at every major comedy festival in the world including Edinburgh (2012-2017), Melbourne (2015-2016) and Just for Laughs Montreal. He has told jokes on BBC Radio 4, BBC 1, BBC 3, Comedy Central, CTV Australian Comedy Channel, and CBC The Comedy Network. He is also the COCA Comedian of the Year, a Martin Sims Award Nominee, an Amused Moose Comedy Award winner, and was briefly a viral sensation after Dennis Rodman heckled him in Los Angeles.
Shannon Murphy is a nanny by day, and by night she is… whatever the opposite of a nanny is. With her sweet and calm demeanor, Shannon has the pleasure of surprising audiences with her dry wit and juvenile humor that makes them lean in to hear what she’s going to say next. Shannon is a regular at the San Francisco Punch Line and Rooster T Feathers. She’s opened for John Witherspoon, Greg Behrendt, Bryan Callen, Sheng Wang, and Tony Hinchcliffe.
