We’re excited to present the next installment in our Barrel of Laughs Comedy Series with another hilarious evening with The Best of San Francisco Comedy Competition!

Show begins at 7:00pm
Chef Todd Fisher and his culinary team will be there cooking delicious cuisine available for purchase. Wine, beer & soda will be available at one of our bars and during the show for table service.

-Alex Elkin: Winner of 2016 San Francisco Comedy Competition
Alex Elkins started his comedy career in 2016 after winning the prestigious International San Francisco Comedy Competition. In July 2018, he was honored by being chosen to go to Iraq to entertain the troops. Alex has been selected as a finalist in the Laugh Factory’s International Donald Trump Impersonator contest and is reigning champion of the Hard Rock Casino’s Annual Comedy Cage Match. Headlining clubs across the country and working alongside national acts, Alex Elkin is creating a buzz in the comedy world. Alex has been seen on the Netflix series Trinkets, Inside Edition, CNN, VUDU, XBOX, Amazon Prime, E!’s The Simple Life Season 5, TNT’s LEVERAGE, NBC’s GRIMM as well as heard regularly on XM Sirius’ Raw Dogcomedy channel. Alex Elkin comedy specials and albums are released through Uproar Records including his latest recording, Screaming at Shapes, which debuted at #6 on iTunes can be found at any online music store.
-Maureen Langan: Finalist of 2009 San Francisco Comedy Competition
Maureen Langan is an award-winning journalist turned standup comic and radio talk show host. Maureen is a MAC Award-winner who has performed on Broadway with Rosie O’Donnell and has opened for Steven Wright, Dennis Miller, Joy Behar and Gladys Knight. She’s been featured on Gotham Live, HBO, Red Eye, Comics Unleashed, the Paramount Pictures film “Marci X,” and in national commercials. Maureen currently hosts Hanging with Langan, a three-hour weekly talkshow on KGO radio in San Francisco, and she is a frequent guest host on WABC Radio in New York City. Maureen’s combined skills as a comic and journalist make her unique and a popular contributor on the talk show circuit. She is an in-demand corporate and event emcee. She was honored when Robert Kennedy Jr personally invited her to perform at his prestigious Riverkeeper’s annual Fishermen’s Ball in New York City.
-Chad Optiz Semi: Finalist of 2017 San Francisco Comedy Competition
Chad Opitzis a comic whose hilarious and unique perspectives are making him an oft booked staple at Bay Area clubs and showcases. Veering between one-liners, short story jokes, and sometimes even song, Opitz’ writing is as well-regarded as his character and performance work. Chad has been a featured guest on the Doug Loves Movies Podcast and The Benson Interruption. He’s opened for Michelle Wolf, David Cross, Scott Thompson, Gad Elmaleh, ISMO, Rob Schneider, Bobcat Goldthwait, and many more.
-Myles Weber: Winner of 2015 San Francisco Comedy Competition
Myles Weber is a comedian on a mission. He took first place in the 40th Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition. Weber was the second youngest to win the competition and one of only two comics to ever sweep the whole thing. He has also fared well in festivals, having been voted “Best of The Fest” at the Burbank and San Luis Obispo Comedy Festivals. Myles has appeared on MTV’s Greatest Party Story Ever and has hosted for Portico TV and Popular Science.
